How do I join Springfield Lakes Netball Club's Team White as a beginner umpire?
Before starting your umpiring journey with SLNC all umpires must:
1. Complete the Online Rules of Netball Theory Exam
This course is a pre-requisite to attend the WDNA Introduction to Umpiring Course. The course is $13.00 and is valid for 4 years. This is an open book exam, and umpires require a score of 70% to pass. Please print your certificate and email to our SLNC Umpire Coordinator - umpires@springfieldlakesnetballclub.com
2. Attend the WDNA Introduction to Umpiring Course
Venue: WDNA Clubhouse
1st Course for 2026: Tuesday 21st April, 6:00pm to 8:00pm
2nd Course for 2026: Saturday 16th May, 8:00am to 9:45am
Cost: Free for members of WDNA
No experience is necessary. The course is designed to help get you get started on your Umpire Journey. Register ASAP as numbers are limited (you will need to provide your Online Rules of Netball Theory Exam Certificate).
