SLNC Awards
Club Member of the Year is awarded to an individual in recognition of their significant contribution to the development of netball and distinguished volunteer service to SLNC.

Jess is a humble coach and committee member holding the roles of Treasurer and Registrar in 2025 - a volunteer who consistently goes above and beyond for the Springfield Lakes Netball Club. She dedicates significant time and effort to coaching, mentoring and supporting players of all skill levels.

Jess, her hubby Matt and children Jake & Chloe, are always present bright and early on game days to help set up and ensure everything runs smoothly on the day - and Jess always with a smile on her face!

Jess' selflessness, reliability and dedication make her an invaluable asset to the club and truly deserving of the 2025 Club Member of the Year award.
Jenny is one of the most familiar faces around SLNC, well known for her bubbly personality and welcoming smile, after years of dedication and exemplary service to our club. Jenny was our long-standing Treasurer before moving into the Vice President role for 2023 & 2024.

Season after season (and all through the off-season too), Jenny put her hand up for everything and anything - always the first to arrive and the last to leave whether it be grading, training, game day, Gala netball fundraising days... basically any SLNC event!

If anybody has a question about the who, what, where, when, how of our club's history, Jenny is our go-to gal. Jenny helped build Springfield Lakes Netball Club to be the best that it can be and was our deserving winner of the 2024 Club Member of the Year award.

Thank you to our incredible volunteers!
A grassroots community netball club such as ours is run by dedicated volunteers who donate their time so that our club can not just survive, but thrive!

We'd like to acknowledge the many different roles generously filled by volunteers:

-
Springfield Lakes Netball Club Committee (and often our familes too) - we are the team who organise everything at club level
-
SLNC Coaches & Junior Coaches - incredible individuals who teach, inspire and lead their team
-
SLNC Umpire Mentors - generously sharing their knowledge to nuture the next generation of umpires
-
SLNC Team Managers - a coach's right-hand supporter helping to organise the team
-
SLNC Canteen Helpers - spending an hour chatting in the warm canteen at training leads to new connections within the club and boosts fundraising so that we can invest in future development
-
SLNC scorers - vital to officiate on game day
Whether it be for 1 hour per season or a larger, regular role - every contribution is valued at Springfield Lakes Netball Club!
